Best Time To Visit Brazil

With very few exceptions, there is always a good time to visit Brazil at any time of the year. Low seasons can work best for those wishing lesser crowds and better prices. A shoulder season is often the best time to visit, weather and accommodation-wise. Conversely, the peak season can be the most crowded and expensive times of the year. Always check with your travel expert; their advice on when to go to Brazil is invaluable.

Peak ( Nov - Mar )

In this country for all seasons, November to March are the warmest and the most fun in the cities and all the beaches up and down its substantial coast. The Amazon tends to be wet at this time of year, but it is still a popular destination with great wildlife watching opportunities. The NE coast aslso sees a few showers, but they are mostly restricted to the afternoons. Book early if traveling around the February Carnival time.

Shoulder ( Apr - Oct )

Right from April to October sees Brazil enjoying cooler temperatures up and down the country. Wildlife comes alive in the Pantanal region and the massive cities of Rio and Sao Paulo see less congestion on the beaches. The Amazon is in flood at this time after its wet months, making river exploration fun and enriching.
