Fiji

Walk into a Fijian village, and you will be have to remove your hat and sunglasses, because only the chief of the tribe is allowed to wear those. Take back 4-pronged forks as souvenirs, essential cutlery for eating humans back then in the island's cannibal history. You can also stand on the International Date Line, with one foot in tomorrow and the other in yesterday. You may eat delicious boiled bat, cooked ‘lovo’ style in underground ovens. Fijians are also considered to be some of the friendliest on the planet, and these 333 gorgeous islands have 700 miles of pristine coastline between them. Make this your quintessential Pacific Islands holiday; it does not get more beautiful than this.

Peak Season Description:
This is the most popular time of year to travel; weather is mostly dry and cool, and the waters around the islands are perfect for swimming, snorkeling and diving. Beaches are crowded and resorts fill up fast, although there are lots of fun activities all over the islands.
Shoulder Season Description:
There is typically no transition from Peak to Low. Fiji enjoys only two seasons. It's either one or the other.
Low Season Description:
Still a good time to visit, if you don’t mind a little rain; there is a chance of storms but these pass very quickly. Prices are lower and crowds less, and flora and fauna are in full bloom. However, please note, December can be a busy month with crowds thronging and prices shooting up again, because of Australia and New Zealand school holidays.
