Peak ( Jan - Feb , Jun - Oct )

The iconic and awe-inspiring Wildebeest Migration happens from July – October, the king of bucket-list experiences. To avoid disappointment, book at least 8 months in advance. Coastal areas fill up fast as well, as do safaris all over the country because of crisp dry weather. Don't be caught napping on this one.

Shoulder ( Nov - Dec )

A few thundershowers, but nothing that keeps tourists away. Prices will fall, but advance reservations for lodges/camps/hotels are still imperative. Great time to visit as this is the season of the ‘other Great’ - the calving; seeing the young ones in the wild will offer incredible experiences, accompanied with moderate pricing: the perfect match. A dream season for wildlife photographers.

Low ( Mar - May )

April and May see some rains that leads to lush green landscapes almost all over. Due to low frequentation, this season offers super value pricing and the joys of having the wilderness almost to yourself.
