    Day 01 : Arrival in Anchorage

    Arrive in Alaska’s largest city, Anchorage. Utilize your hotel's courtesy shuttle, which will transport you to your accommodations for the evening. Check-in to your Anchorage hotel for some rest and relaxation.

    Day 02 : Anchorage

    Today’s bear viewing adventure in Katmai National Park begins when you board a twin-prop aircraft in Anchorage bound for Kulik Lodge or King Salmon, Alaska. This national park boasts the largest population of protected brown bears in the world.

    Upon arrival, your driver will greet you for your short bus transfer to a Katmai Air floatplane, which will take you to the Brooks Lodge. A brief orientation is presented by a park ranger to prepare you for your adventure into bear country. Learn how to conduct yourself while viewing Alaskan brown bears in their natural habitat and visit the world-famous Brooks Falls where they feed. National Park Rangers will be close, to answer any questions about this incredible park.

    Following your return flight to Anchorage, enjoy your evening at leisure.

    Day 03 & 04 : Anchorage to Sterling / Bear Camp

    Chosen by Outside Magazine as “North America’s Best Bush Camp”, this Alaskan brown bear viewing camp is located on the edge of Lake Clark National Park and makes for the perfect place to create those once-in-a-lifetime memories.

    You will be picked you up at your Anchorage hotel, and be whisked away to the Great Alaska Adventure Lodge. Upon arrival at the lodge, enjoy lunch before departing via a small plane to Bear Camp. Enroute, witness active volcanoes and massive glaciers below before experiencign a beach landing, like the earliest pioneers of this incredible wilderness.

    Your stay at Bear Camp includes accommodations in high-tech, heated tent-cabins, great guides, and all meals. Spend two nights at Bear Camp.

The northern Alaskan coast consists of mainly tundra and barren regions; whereas the central regions of Alaska are of boreal forest and the southeast coastal regions have coastal forests.

Alaska has several species of wildlife; mainly bears, polar, black and brown, as well as caribou, moose, mountain goats, bison and other mammals.
