  • Itinerary Summary

    Day 1 : LABUAN BAJO TO KALONG
    Guests will be met by the yacht’s crew at Labuan Bajo Airport and transferred to the harbour. After guests have settled in and been briefed by the crew, the boat will set out from Labuan Bajo to Kelor, a small island with a white, sandy beach and magnificent reefs. In the evening, as the sun sets over Kalong, guests may see thousands of flying foxes as they fly back to the mainland to feed.

    Day 2 : KOMODO NATIONAL PARK
    This morning, guests can go in search of the legendary Komodo Dragon on the grassy peaks of Rinca Island and in the afternoon, pick a tropical reef to snorkel on, or a blush pink beach to relax on. Sunsets in Komodo National Park are magnificent, and make for the perfect evening.

    Day 3 : RIUNG – PEMANA ISLANDS
    The morning of the third day will see guests arrive at the “17 Islands Marine Park”, remote and practically deserted with white sands and crystal clear water. Aside from incredible marine life, the park is home to interesting wildlife on land and fascinating villages.

    Day 4 : PEMANA ISLANDS, EAST FLORES
    The Pemana Islands, off the coast of Maumere in Flores, include Pulau Besar, Pulau Babi, Pulau Pangabatang, Sukun, Palu’e, Pemana Besar, and Pemana Kecil. The islanders originate from Sulawesi and, as descendants of the seafaring Bugis tribes, they live life focused around the ocean.

    Day 5 : EAST FLORES
    Along the coast of East Flores, the yacht will continue to sail, stopping along the way to explore deserted beaches and snorkel or dive on pristine reefs.

    Day 6 : LEMBATA ISLAND
    Today, guests can visit one of the most extraordinary communities on the planet, the whaling village of Lamalera, famous for its adherence to traditional methods of fishing. Here, guests can see traditional village life and observe the manner in which the community utilises every single part of their catch as sustenance. Lamalera is one of only two villages in Indonesia that have been allowed to continue sustaining themselves in this way, because it has been so embedded in their way of life for many years.

    Day 7 : PANTAR STRAIT
    The Pantar Strait sits between the islands of Pantar and Alor and is made up of four large islands, Buaya, Ternate, Pura and Trewag. This entire area is famed for its varied topography, both above and below the water line, wonderfully green with some stunning beaches in the north of strait. On these pristine reefs one of the most common sights are the woven fish traps used by the locals. The villages in this area are famed for their warm welcomes and the spear fishermen wearing their wooden framed goggles. Guests may also visit a traditional seaweed farm.

    Day 8 : KOMBA ISLAND
    Komba is known for one of the “fire-breathing monsters” located in the middle of the ocean. The Batu Tara volcano rewards visitors with a fiery spectacle every 30 minutes complete with the dazzling sight of molten lava flowing down the mountainside and the sound of thunderous crashes as dust clouds are blasted out from deep inside the crater.

    Day 9 : PIG ISLAND
    Pulau Babi literally means ‘pig island’. Its north end is bordered by a wide coral reef facing the Flores Sea. Further south, there is a small tidal flat where two villages were built. At the southern end of the island, the barrier reef tapers; a deep wall with lots of crevices with leather corals in the shallows. Babi is home to many dive sites. One, called The Crack, was formed during an earthquake in 1992.

    Day 10 : MAUMERE
    This morning, the boat will arrive at the port of Maumere. After a farewell breakfast, guests will be transferred to the airport for their flight home.

Indonesia experiences an almost entirely tropical climate as it is split by the Equator.

The northern lowlands have tropical rainforests, while the southern lowlands have seasonal forests.

Each region of Indonesia contains different habitats and creatures. Mammals like orangutans and elephants are rampant.
