Arrive in Madrid and travel south to Cordoba

Enjoy a comfortable high-speed train to Cordoba, reaching in only one and half hours. This morning is dedicated to discovering the impressive Mosque and the old town of Cordoba. The UNESCO-listed building was started in 785 A.D. by Muslim conquerors and is today Cordoba’s Cathedral as well, so this temple has been a place for prayers since Roman times.

Your private guide will take you through the old Jewish quarter through the Alcazar and its gardens (closed on Mondays), the tiny narrow streets of the old town and the unforgettable patios covered with flowers and painted tiles.

The half-day tour ends at your hotel where you check in. Your luggage is already placed in your room for more comfort. Relax for a while by the hotel pool or explore the city in search of a restaurant.

The afternoon is free for you to discover any interesting Cordoba corners, like the Julio Romero de Torres Musuem or the nearby ruins of the Medina Azahara Arab city.
