  • Itinerary Summary

    Day 01 : Arrival in Phoenix

    Today, you will arrive in Phoenix, Arizona. Upon arrival at the airport, your private guide will greet you, help collect your luggage, and transfer you to Sedona (2 hours 15 minutes). After checking in to Enchantment Resort, your guide will review your upcoming program with you. You will then have the remainder of the day to explore your beautiful new surroundings.

    Day 02 : Phoenix

    After breakfast, your guide will pick you up to transfer you to your Pink Jeep Tour. During your excursion, you’ll be surrounded by the natural splendor and experience the thrill of “The Road of No Return” with your guide. You will also travel along the Mogollon Rim to gain a panoramic view of Sedona and the Verde Valley, which offers a dramatic vantage point! After the tour, you will return to the Resort where you have the rest of the day to enjoy the pool and spa.

    Day 03 : Phoenix - Canyon Point

    Today, your guide will transfer you to Amangiri (3 hours 3 minutes). Upon arrival, you can relax and explore your new, spectacular surroundings.

    Day 04 : Canyon Point

    After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Wire Pass near Kanab, Utah (45 minutes). Wire Pass Trail is a 1.7 mile trail that features beautiful wild flowers and ends at Buckskin Gulch. For the first mile from the trailhead, the walk is along a wide, meandering stream-bed between low, reddish cliffs, and over soft sand. The surrounding cliffs become gradually higher and closer together, and the last half mile has two good deep stretches of narrows. At the end of the second slot, the cliffs open out to Buckskin Gulch. Here, the sun illuminates the curving sandstone walls more extensively, sometimes reaching all the way to the floor, and often producing beautiful reflections. Afterwards, you will transfer back to Amangiri, where you have the late afternoon and evening to relax and enjoy your day at leisure.

    Day 05 : Canyon Point

    Enjoy a wide range of activities in Amangiri today. Its trail system and unrivalled backcountry access allow guests to explore the region’s striking desert scenery on foot. With trail difficulties ranging from beginner to advanced, there is something for everyone. The hiking trails on the property are well-marked and maintained, and are easily accessible from the resort. Moreover, the Aman Spa is a 25,000 square foot destination unto itself, providing a serene setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. The entrance is reminiscent of nearby slot canyons and opens into an intimate reception and lounge area featuring a glass tiled, sky-lit reflection pool and a central fireplace. The spa menu has been created to reflect elements of Navajo culture and healing traditions. Whether lounging at the pool, rejuvenating at the spa, or hiking the surrounding trails, you have plenty to enjoy at the resort today.

    Day 06 : Canyon Point

    After breakfast, your guide will meet you in the lobby of the resort and transfer you to Antelope Point Marina (35 minutes). Once at the Marina, you will shuttle down to the dock where your 28 ft. open bow Cobalt will be waiting for your arrival. Your guide and captain will take you out onto Lake Powell to begin exploring deep into the slot canyons. Lake Powell has more coastline than the entire west coast of the U.S., and offers great kayaking, hiking, slot canyoneering, rappelling, and cliff jumping. Once you make your way to the lake, you will board your kayaks and begin paddling upstream. After your day of adventure on Lake Powell, you will head back to the Marina and transfer back to Amangiri. You will return to the hotel in the late afternoon where the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure.

    Day 07 : Canyon Point

    After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from Amangiri and transfer you to the river office to begin your private Colorado River Float. With the dam soaring 700 feet above you, you will board a motorized pontoon raft for your journey downstream, where you will experience one of the most dramatic stretches of river found in the U.S. While underway, your experienced guide will tell the area’s story of soaring sandstone cliffs, crystal blue-green waters, abundant wildlife, former inhabitation by native cultures, exploration by Major John Wesley Powell, and the Colorado River’s modern role in the Southwest ’s water and power delivery system. After your trip, you will be transferred back to the resort with time to enjoy a dip in the pool or the on-site activities that the resort offers.

    Day 08 : Canyon Point

    Today, you can enjoy Amangiri through local excursions in the Lake Powell area with your guide. In the late afternoon, you will depart to meet your wrangler for a private 2-hour sunset horseback ride in Vermillion Cliffs National Monument. Once your ride is complete, you will return to the resort for the evening.

    Day 09 : Canyon Point

    Today, you will explore the Grand Canyon on land and from the air. In the mid-morning, your private helicopter will depart from the landing pad at Amangiri. You will fly to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, enjoying spectacular views along the way. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and transfer you into Grand Canyon National Park, where you can enjoy a picnic lunch while hiking along the beautiful South Kaibab Trail. This historic rim-to-river trail has a great deal to offer the inquisitive hiker; ancient rocks and fossils, prehistoric Indian inscriptions, amazing plants and animals, and some of the most breathtaking views in North America will be yours to enjoy. After your adventure at the Grand Canyon, your private helicopters will fly you back to Amangiri for your final night of enjoyment.
